About S.O.S Mechanical

Our Story

Proudly Serving the Community I Grew Up In

S.O.S Mechanical is a locally owned and operated plumbing, heating, and HVAC company proudly serving North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and the surrounding North Shore communities.

My name is Owen Snider, owner and operator of S.O.S Mechanical. Born and raised in West Vancouver, I've spent over 10 years working in the plumbing and heating industry, building my experience across everything from everyday plumbing repairs and service calls to complex boiler systems, heating equipment, heat pumps, and complete HVAC installations.

I started this company with a simple goal: to provide the kind of service I would want in my own home. That means quality workmanship, honest recommendations, clear communication, and taking pride in every job — big or small.

When you call, you're dealing directly with me. I'll take the time to properly diagnose the problem, explain your options, and recommend solutions that make sense for your home and budget. I believe in doing things properly the first time and building long-term relationships with my customers rather than simply completing the next service call.

Whether you need a plumbing repair, a new hot water system, boiler service, heating repairs, or a complete heat pump installation, you can expect professional, dependable service from someone who genuinely cares about the work.
